In this tutorial you will be introduced to the basics of how to do the drop knee trick on a slackline. This trick takes alot of balance but you will be mastering it in no time. You want to begin this trick from a standing position with one foot about 6-12 inches in front of the other. Take your back foot and place the top of it onto the line and lower your stance until it locks in. Keep you weight distributed as evenly as possible until you get all the way down into position. Remember to keep your shoulders facing down the line and try not to lean too far forward as this will make the trick more difficult. You will know you are in the correct position when your back knee is positioned below the line and your butt is touching your back foot. You exit this position in the exact reverse of how you got into it by pushing with both feet as evenly as you can trying to go directly strait up remembering again to not lean too far forward. Keep your eyes facing directly ahead of you at a point somewhere towards the end of the slackline. This is not a super difficult trick to learn but is very impressive once you have mastered it. Get out there and get practicing!
