How To Chongo Mount (Slackline Trick Tutorial)
In this tutorial you will be introduced to what a Chongo Mount is and how you can can perform the trick on a slackline. Be aware that this is just an introduction where you will be presented with the basics of the skill and requires repeated effort on your part to really understand how to do it so that you can add another awesome trick to your toolbox.
Start this trick by standing right next to the line. Place one foot on the line at the arch or ball of the base and use your opposite hand to stabilize yourself. You want the majority of your weight, if not all of it on your leg and not your hand.
Once you can balance in this position you simply extend your leg as smoothly and quickly as possible simultaneously bringing up you other foot and placing it on the slackline.
The longer you take to do this the more the line is going to wobble, so you need to be swift. The main key to mastering this is to use your leg and not your arm. The arm is just there for stability.
